I decided to apply the $300.00 grocery budget again for December. I spent $149.63, half my budget this weekend. Chicken breasts were on sale for $1.99/lb. That only happens approximately once a month if not longer so I bought about 18-20 lbs. Canned tomatoes and beans were under $1 so I bought 6 cans of tomatoes and 4 of beans. I don't think I'll have to go shopping at all next week LOL.
Here's this week's menu:
Sunday
Brunch: Hash & cheese omelets with toast (homemade bread) and butter
Dinner: I'm not sure yet. There's leftover ham and sweet potatoes in the fridge so I think we'll whip something up with those.
Monday
Breakfast: White chocolate peppermint overnight oats
Lunch: Tuna sandwich
Dinner: One pot chicken Caesar pasta and salad
Tuesday
Breakfast: Applesauce muffins and cottage cheese
Lunch: Leftovers
Dinner: Lightened up homemade hamburger helper and veggie from the freezer
Wednesday
Breakfast: White chocolate peppermint overnight oats
Lunch: Leftovers
Dinner: Cozy healthier chicken pot pie
Thursday
Breakfast: Apple cinnamon bread and greek yogurt
Lunch: Leftovers
Dinner: Macro-friendly chicken fried rice
Friday
Breakfast: White chocolate peppermint overnight oats
Lunch: Leftovers
Dinner: Slow cooker turkey chili and cornbread
Saturday
Breakfast & Lunch are using up any leftovers
Dinner: We do takeout or go out to eat

Banana
Greek yogurt
Clementines
Granola bar
Protein smoothie
Cottage cheese
