New Beginnings



I'm going to be totally transforming my blog. I'm going to begin by sharing my transformation, so here goes! The picture on the left was me about 4 years ago. I was almost 40 lbs overweight, usually wore baggy clothes to try and cover my body as best as I could. I had no energy, wasn't happy, ate junk food alot, etc etc etc. You all know that lifestyle. My husband (at the time) was doing P90X and I tried doing it with him but after about a month & a half, my back was hurting so bad I had to go to the Dr. It turned out I had a degenerative spine. Once the pain subsided, I started doing Turbo Fire and followed the modifications. I fell in love with the program (still my favorite to this day). I started eating a little healthier but certainly could have done better. Then right before Thanksgiving that year my husband told me he wanted a divorce. I wasn't expecting it. I ended up working out harder but starving myself. I lost about 30 lbs in 2 months. Once I got myself established out in the "single life", my own place, a job, etc, I started using shakeology, eating properly and continued doing various Beachbody workouts. I felt great. The picture on the right was taken a year ago. I had more energy and absolutely loved the Beachbody products so I became a coach. I, however, did it for all the wrong reasons. So, over the past few years, I was an on and off coach. I was in it for me. I guess you could say I was being selfish. Then about six months ago, I stopped working out and wasn't eating as healthy, even suspended my shakeology. I was back to no energy, feeling like crap, etc. ........ I'll post the second half of my story next week!!
