When I first started hearing all the hubbub around the importance of gut health, I immediately had one thought - “The latest fad… here we go.”
I had a lot of preconceived ideas of what taking care of your gut probably looked like - Juice cleanses, multiple pills and supplements, and strict diet plans that immediately turned me off of the whole idea.
BUT… I decided to give it a chance and do a little research on my own.
Turns out - I was wrong. So wrong.
Believe it or not, the gut is really our second brain.
It breaks down the food we eat which allows us to absorb the nutrients we need in order to function on a daily basis. It also helps regulate hormones, eliminate toxins, and has a major impact on our mental health. (Yep… our brains!! )
When I was learning all of this, the signs and symptoms of poor gut health smacked me right in the face, too.
Frequent bloating
Difficulty digesting specific foods
Fatigue
Brain fog
Heartburn
And you guessed it… constipation or irregular
Long story short… Taking care of your gut is NOT a fad. I need to. You need to. WE ALL NEED TO.
But you’re in luck! I have a new program coming March 15th that’s all about getting in tune with our gut, learning how food affects us, and how to live a lifestyle that promotes a healthy gut… without the juice cleanses.
I’m SO freaking excited for it!!
If you’re curious about the program or would like to learn more, just reply to this email! I’d love to chat with you about it!
Talk soon!
